An Old Server...yet another reason for me to dislike A-Rod. I've never liked him, his personality seems to be seriously lacking...and I'm being nice here.

Lainey, I love hearing generous tip stories!! I always used to say that people should work in a restaurant for a weekend before they are able to go out to dinner. Then, maybe they'll realize how hard it is and tip their server accordingly.

I am a waitress at a Texas Roadhouse in Richmond Indiana and we are extremely busy all of the time and i work very hard. i make a whole whoppin' 2.13 an hr my checks are for a penny sometimes.Our tips are the only thing we rely on to survive. Shame on these celebrities.Matt Lite from the New England Patriots comes to our resteraunt when he comes home to Ohio and he has always been polite and generous.He took a pic with me and even signed an autograph for my son. Thats Respect...thanks Matt

These celebrities think that they will be on top forever, I feel sorry when the times comes when they're just old, unpopular, alone and dying. Their money can't save them, i don't think money can buy friends or family to comfort them. For their sakes I just hope that they are generous in some other aspects because karma is a real thing

This is pretty pathetic considering the amount of money these people make. There's 4 people on this list that I really liked, but now my opinion of them has diminished drastically. If the service is not up to your expectations, a few words can usually turn a bad service situation around. I've even tipped at buffets before when the buffet was $8 I tipped one of the staff $5 because she saw I was on crutches and constantly kept my tea glass full. That's all she did. I'm not anywhere near as wealthy as these people but I'm generous.

I use to wait on guys like Mike Vick, TJ Duckett, Michael Boley, and a few other Falcons. All GREAT tippers. Vick once gave me a $20.00 tip on about a $40 order. same with Duckett. Vick even signed some footballs for me one year at Christmas.

When Andruw Jones and Rafael Furcal played for the Braves they would come through, both guys were awesome and tipped well.

Rodney Harrison formerly of the New England Patriots was just rude and cheap. Felt like the world owed him. He was cordial a couple times I waited on him, but for the most part a total jerk.

Phillip Daniels of the Redskins was AWESOME (I'm a COwboys fan and he knew it lol). He would always chat and tip well.

Tionne Watkins (T-Boz) Was a good tipper and very friendly.

Mack 10, nice guy, not a good tipper.

Once sat behind Usher at a Denny's. Complete jerk. Left the lady .75 cents on a check that had to be over $200. Was very demanding, and even at one point had to tell the lady who he was with the classic "you know who I am don't you. Disgusting person.

add ARod to that list. He tipped me $2.00 on a $150.00 tab. He was demanding, brash, loud (irritating my other customers... which hurt my tips even more). He's just an all around jerk. I refused to wait on him after that episode.

J, you make a good point. Celebrities are used to people falling all over them and I'm sure some feel as though they're doing the restaurant a favor by eating there. A lot of places do add the gratuity into the bill, but a lot don't.

Beertender TJ, I often wonder if these celebrities were bad tippers before they came into their celebrity status. That's good to know that at least Elway's guys took care of their servers and bartenders.

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT WHEN ALL OF THEM FALL OVER THE FEET OF THESE SO CALL CELEBRITIES WHO EXPECT THEM TO KISS THEIR FEET JUST FOR WALKING IN A PLACE. mOST RESTURANTS I VISIT HAVE A TIP INCLUDED IN THE TOTAL. WE ALWAYS ADD SOME AND NOT IF THE SERVICE WAS LESS THAN DESIRABLE.

I am a golf Caddie in Houston, Texas and I will add some tight wads to the list. Roger Clemens, Clyde Drexler, Chris Brown, Sage Rosenfels to name a few. Jeff Bagwell of former Astros fame is a good tipper and fun to be around!

John Elway..... used to take some of his offensive line into "a Bar" and run up a hefty bill, with a VERY light tip. (his Guys made up for it) but when alone, he still leaves a very paltry sum

I'll give you some good ones I've had. Moved a stairmaster for Robert Downey jr he gave me 100 bucks. Charlie sheen and emilio estevez they had a gym in malibu 100 bucks for 5 mins. Terri Garr 100 bucks stairmaster. All where very nice people also.

Me, Chris Tucker earned an estimated $20 mil on his Rush Hour deal plus a 20% cut of the gross of whatever the film itself earns. I say, if you expect a service (like valet parking) you pay for it, otherwise, do what the rest of us do...park yourself and walk. Thanks for the comment!!

Katana, one would think that a person that drives a car that costs $300,000 minimum (and you know T.I. isn't driving a "stock" car) could afford to pay for his valet parking. Shameful not to pay for parking or leave a tip.

T.I. Didn't want to pay for his Valet Ticket. He was driving a black Maybach with a girl. the parking was $18.00 and he only gave $8.00.. Didn't pay and no tip. WEST HOLLYWOOD 10/09/08

After spending many years myself waiting tables, I always say that people should wait tables on a busy night at least once in their lives in order to appreciate how difficult of a job it is...especially bad tippers. There is just no excuse!

I am a bartender /waitress who deals with many rich people... And they do not tip the way you would expect!!!!!I work at a very exclusive members only restaurant, and we have an 15% service charge added to their check and there are no extra tips added .... I honestly think that people can always find a way to see something in the service that they are not happy with not matter what.. So that gives them a reason not to tip as well... And don't forget the Canadians....Please someone tell them we only get $3.65 per hour ,Wether they dine at IHOP, or at an EXCLUSIVE RESTAURANT

Tyler Perry is a great tipper. $120 meal, $600 tip. Came in again same week, $300 meal, $1000 tip
