Britney Spears Twitter account was hacked and an obscene message was posted. It was written to imitate the gossipy slang of the singer. Daily Mail captured a screen shot of the explicit message at the link. -HottestNews- |

I’m not surprised. Twitter hackers are all over the place. I just wonder who these people are. Obviously they have the smarts to be able to hack into an electronic device, so they have brains. You have to wonder why they don’t put their “powers” to better use being employed by some computer company or some place where they can get paid for their technological acumen. |

I’m not surprised that her Twitter was hacked either. What kills me is that celebs complain ALL THE TIME about how invasive the paparazzi and the media are, but then put Twitter all their life’s little details. |

Yeah, I don’t get the whole celebrity Twitter craze. It is hypocritical. Though, I think some celebs feel obligated to use it since it is so HUGE. They have to keep their names out there to make money, so they tweet and tweet. Then, when something happens that they don’t want to discuss, then all of a sudden the media is ruining their lives. Pick a side and stick with it. |

Michele, hypocritical is the perfect word! If they don’t want the world to know their every single move, then how about they don’t tell the world? Half of the stuff they say is not even interesting anyway. Honestly, I snicker a bit when a celeb’s Twitter account gets hacked because they pretty much bring it on themselves. |

The other thing is that there are so many people out there who have twitter accounts in celeb’s names. It typically takes a while for followers to figure out if they have the REAL deal. I know several stars have had fake accounts attributed to them. Still, I agree, Sue Lynn, they really aren’t sharing breaking news—they save that kind of stuff for their publicists to announce via PR releases. |
