Eddie Izzard can be proud of himself. He did something very few people have done – in 51 days he completed an astonishing series of 43 marathons!

Eddie’s 1,100-mile gallop around the back roads of Britain intended to raise money for charity. Being a celebrity has its specific duties and since Cheryl Cole scaled Kilimanjaro, and David Williams swam the English Channel, physical achievements have become a popular area for self-development for the stars.

If you decide to follow the stand-up comedian’s way of life then keep in mind that your day will begin at 6.30am and end with a quick shower, an icy bath, and compression socks on your calves. Some important information you might find useful is that overtraining may lead to sleepless nights and sleeping tablets.

After all those marathons, Eddie Izzard is now busy with radio presenting so listen carefully to hear his voice on The Stanley Baxter Show (Radio 2), and on Chain Reaction (Radio 4).

Fans are eagerly waiting for Eddie Izzard’s appearance in the brand new movie Rage, where Jude Law reveals the feminine side of him and Judi Dench and Steve Buscemi complete the colors of the story.

Reps for Timbaland say Chris wasn’t dropped due to the negative publicity he’s had in the past year and claims that they “love” Chris, but simply went with a different artist. Hmmm, sounds fishy to me. I don’t blame Timbaland for not wanting to tarnish his reputation.

The musical talent of Cher is being shown in many movies but what this year offers may be the chance for the younger viewers to become more familiar with it. In the theatrical musical Burlesque she is partnering with Christina Aguilera. This is Aguilera’s debut on the big screen. And what e debut – to play side by side an icon as Cher!

Tricky Stewart, producer of the score to the movie, revealed that Burlesque will remind us of Chicago, the musical.

Cher’s heroine will be the owner of a burlesque club and a former dancer.

But talking of the past, where the movie plot is set, we have to mention something coming from 1956.

If old cars are your specialty, you wouldn’t want to miss this auction! Cher’s Vintage 1956 Ford F100 Pickup is being sold. The pickup has a nickname – “Moonstruck.” The movie star gave the truck this name after the 1987 movie performance for which she won the Oscar for Best Actress.

The story behind Cher’s ownership of the truck and the unique customizations she had installed is an interesting one. Cher had always wanted a pick-up truck and would often talk about her desire amongst her friends. Then out of the blue one of her friends, actor Johnny Depp, spotted a 1956 Ford F100 pickup for sale on the side of the road and immediately called Cher.

When Cher bought the 1956 Ford F100 pickup, she knew it wasn’t perfect, but after reading an issue of Custom Classic Trucks, she wanted to know how to get the truck to look like some of the beauties she saw in the magazine. The truck was in decent condition; it had independent front suspension, a 460 V8 engine, a tilt steering wheel, shaved door handles and black primer finish. Except for the front suspension, most of the workmanship was marginal, and the engine was ready for a rebuild. Problems were either apparent or ready to surface.

Cher decided that she wanted the truck black, totally black. We’re talking black frame, black suspension, black body, and black interior, so the body had to be flawless.

A sophisticated electronics system was put in that includes the ability to limit engine performance to any speed the owner selects, that way when Cher lets her son Elijah drive the truck, he can’t get in over his head.

All the fans of Cher always interested to know about Cher Concert schedules and tour dates to enjoy Cher concerts!

KISS’ 19th studio album is the first collection of new material since “Psycho Circus” 11 years ago. Ace Frehley and Peter Criss are absent, which leaves Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons free to include as much ham-handed sexual innuendo as possible, elevated with rudimentary power chords. The album is a back-to-basics effort that recalls the best of “Alive!” at moments, and might inspire you to dream about being “Starchild.”

The band is currently on Kiss Alive/35 North American Tour promoting their last album. Though the line-up is authentic just in half, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer are doing a great job taking the places of the absent Ace Frehley and Peter Criss.

According to Simmons this is the largest tour they’d ever done.

The fans are satisfied by the selection of songs on the Kiss shows. The hits are the backbone of the Kiss concert. “Deuce,” “Hotter Than Hell” and “Black Diamond,” “Cmon and Love Me” and a sleazy “She” – everything a fan wants to hear will be heard on the shows which continue until December 6, according to plan.

Through touring and merchandise Kiss is trying to fight losses incurred by piracy.

“You grab an album and leave a store, they put you in handcuffs,” Stanley says. “And yet someone on the Internet can decide whether or not I get paid. File-sharing, that’s like me stealing your car and telling you I’m sharing your transportation.”

‘What we do isn’t charity,’ say the rockers.

The musicians agree that lasting 40 years is “nothing short of hard work.”

For all their swagger and ego, Simmons and Stanley say they’re humbled by the band’s longevity and express enormous respect for the Kiss Army.

“We’re privileged,” Simmons says. “There but for the grace of God, anyone of us would be asking the next person in line, ‘Would you like fries with that?’ What have I got to complain about? I’m filthy rich. I’ve been there, done that and owned the T-shirt with my own face on it.”
