Is Miley’s Star Fading?

The AOL website Just So You Know, conducted a poll of over 40,000 teens and tweens on who they thought was the worst celebrity influence and Miley Cyrus took home the not-so-coveted prize. Britney Spears came in a distant second, garnering only 27 percent of the votes, so is Miley’s star fading?

Many people who are so sick of Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus might just have their fingers crossed, but come on, the girl hasn’t had the most stellar year. First the way-too- much-skin Vanity Fair photo spread, then the stripper pole dancing at the Teen Choice Awards, not to mention her little “slanty eye” photo that naturally offended a whole lot of Asian people. When do you think it’s time her parents pull in the reins a bit and get Miley back to her squeaky clean Disney girl image? So is Miley’s star fading? The teens have spoken and it looks like, yes, yes it is and I don’t think playing a part in a movie that is about adult relationships (and activities) like Sex in The City, is the way to clean up her quickly tarnishing image.
