Vivica A. Fox Arrested on Suspicion of DUI

It looks like public indiscretions aren't limited to young Hollywood anymore. Just ask actress Vivica A. Fox, whose DUI arrest has now been added to the list of recent celebrity slip-ups.
Vivica A. Fox's Arrest
Entertainment Tonight reported that the former Dancing with the Stars contestant was driving her Cadillac eastbound on U.S. route 101 in California's San Fernando Valley around 10:57 p.m. on March 20, 2007, when she was pulled over for driving 80 mph in a 65 mph zone.
Police Report
According to ET, the police report stated that, "The officers also noted that the driver of the Cadillac was unable to maintain lane position as they traveled eastbound." Police said Fox, 42, who also starred in Kill Bill, had difficulty performing the field sobriety tests and an alcohol breath test indicated her levels were higher than 0.08%, which is California's legal limit. She was released from the Los Angeles Police Department's Van Nuys jail on her own recognizance a few hours later.
Joining Fellow Celebrities
Fox, who will star in a movie about the rise and fall of singer Whitney Houston in 2008, as well as the sixth season of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, joins other Hollywood superstars recently arrested for slipping up with the law:
- Actor Ray Liotta hit two parked cars and was arrested on suspicion of DUI on February 18, 2007.
- Reality television star Nicole Richie was arrested in December 2006 for allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol. Her next court date is April 2, 2007. She was convicted of DUI in June 2003.
- Actor Ryan O'Neal was arrested in February 2007 on assault and firearms charges after a fight with his son.
