Vincent Pastore Hangs Up Dancing Shoes
From LoveToKnow Celebrity
With less than a month before the season premiere, Dancing with the Stars contestant Vincent Pastore has called it quits.
Competition too Strenuous
Pastore, 60, who had triple bypass surgery in 2005, reportedly said the training was too hard on him. In a statement released February 28, 2007, the former Soprano's actor said, "I didn't realize just how physically demanding it would be for me. Unable to put forth my best effort, I felt it appropriate to step aside and give someone else the opportunity."
Pastore's dance partner was Edyta Sliwinska. The show's producers plan to announce his replacement within a week.
Vincent Pastore's Celebreality Ride
Even though Vincent Pastore is leaving Dancing with the Stars, he has had a great ride on the celebreality circuit. In 2006, he was a contestant on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club 4, where he lost 29 pounds in 100 days. During that stint, he helped lead his team to victory a few times during some strenuous exercise challenges.
