Verne Troyer Sex Tape Released
From LoveToKnow Celebrity
It seems that even a court ordered injunction couldn't prevent the Verne Troyer sex tape from being released.
The History of the Tape
When Troyer was dating Ranae Shrider, the couple decided (unwisely) to make a little bedroom movie, presumably for their own private viewing. Well, as these things always go, the private movie became public. TMZ released clips of the video on their website, to which Troyer replied with a $20 million lawsuit. The gossip site quickly removed the clips, only to put them back up when Shrider admitted that she was the one who purposely leaked the parts of the home video.
Celebrity Porn Broker?
Hmmm, never knew there was such an occupation, but apparently, Kevin Blatt holds this job title—his mama must be so proud. He and his company, as well as ex-girlfriend and participant Ranae Shrider, were also named in the lawsuit along with TMZ.
Troyer managed to get an injunction against the further release of the film back in July, but that didn't last long as Blatt and company have announced the upcoming release of the home movie, in its entirety.
As part of the settlement agreement, supposedly neither Blatt nor anyone else could release the sex tape without the express permission from Troyer. Upon hearing news of the video's impending release, Troyer's legal team has stated that their client has no intention of selling, nor releasing the home movie.
Once again, the moral of this story is…if you don't want the world to see what's going on in your bedroom, take a pass next time someone suggests that you record your bedroom escapades.
