Season Three ‘Bachelor' Star Engaged

From LoveToKnow Celebrity

Andrew Firestone, who starred on the third season of The Bachelor, is engaged… for the second time.

About The Bachelor

Firestone appeared on season three of the reality dating competition in 2003. The show involves the bachelor selecting his mate from among 25 women, eliminating one each week during the rose ceremony. This process continues until the bachelor has determined his perfect match.

First Engagement

At the finale of Firestone’s run on The Bachelor, he proposed to “last woman standing” Jennifer Schefft. The pair split later that same year. Schefft went on to appear in the third season of The Bachelorette, where she rejected her chosen suitor’s marriage proposal.

About Andrew Firestone

Andrew Firestone is the great grandson of Harvey Firestone, founder of Firestone tires. He currently runs the family winery in Paso Robles, California. Although The Bachelor was his first foray into reality television, he has since appeared on Celebrity Poker Showdown, Celebrity Paranormal Project, and Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School.

Second Engagement

This time around, Firestone met his match without the help of reality television. He popped the question to his girlfriend, model/actress Ivana Bozilovic, and the pair are planning to get married in Spring 2008. Bozilovic has appeared in small roles in Van Wilder and Wedding Crashers.

Another Bachelor Casualty

With good news, comes bad – Charlie O’Connell, star of season seven’s The Bachelor, and his chosen mate, Sarah Brice, parted ways in September 2007.

Remarkably, The Bachelor is in its eleventh season.
