Salma Hayek married her on-again-off-again boyfriend Francois-Henri Pinault.

Don't Know Pinault?

You may think that you have no idea who this Francois-Henri Pinault character is, but you know him…or at least know of him. Okay, first things first, his father, Francois Pinault is a French billionaire who founded the company PPR (formerly Pinault-Printemps-Redoult). When Francois stepped down as CEO, his son, Francois-Henri took over chairman duties. So, now you're probably wondering just how you know of the Pinaults. Baby First

About a year and a half ago, Salma and Francois welcomed a baby girl, Valentina, into their world. The couple had been together for about a year before announcing their engagement in 2007.

Calling it Off…And Then On

In 2008, as these things go, the pair called off their engagement and both were seemingly back on the market. Neither Pinault nor Hayek gave any reasons as to the split. Then, sort of out of the blue, Salma Hayek married Francois-Henri Pinault on February 14, 2009. The two wed in a small courthouse ceremony in Paris surrounded by only their closest friends and family members.

Given the break-up/make-up record of the two, marrying was a bit of a surprise to most, but hopefully they can make their marriage last far longer than their engagement.
