Almost One Year of Romance

Paris Hilton called it quits with the man she once called "…my love, my heart and my soul" Benji Madden. Madden, whose twin brother is seriously involved with Paris' The Simple Life former partner in crime Nicole Richie is now relegated to the "friend zone." Madden and Hilton were inseparable for a whole nine months. That might just be a record for Paris.

Relief or Regret?

Sources say that it was Paris who put an end to their relationship and not Madden due to his reported controlling behavior. Can't you just imagine Paris' response to this behavior with a "You're not the boss of me!" Okay, seriously now (because everything Paris is oh-so-serious), Hilton apparently had enough of Madden always trying to tell her what to do that she said "Sayonara."

Madden has kept quiet on the situation, though some say that he begged Paris for another chance. No reports on whether that is true or not, but still, after dating Paris Hilton for nearly a year, one has to wonder…"Is he relieved? Or does he regret losing her?" Ah, one of the questions of life that may never be answered.
