Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie Reconcile for "Simple Life 5"

Because we haven’t been punished enough, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie have agreed to reunite for a fifth season of The Simple Life, as is being reported by the Associated Press.
According to the AP, the two women, who are famous for being famous, have agreed to put aside their differences to hang out on a deserted island with a bunch of survivalists. Apparently, the two will bond over the traumatic experience of being without limousines, cell phones and credit cards for several weeks. As we know from previous seasons of The Simple Life, the show is all about spontaneity and reality.
A Publicity Stunt?
There are many who feel Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s falling out was manufactured to boost the ratings of the fourth season of The Simple Life in which they each appeared separately. Now, a “reconciliation” should skyrocket the viewership even more. This speculation is unconfirmed, however.

In more publicity...er...reconciliation news, Paris and Nicole dined in public on Sunday night at Dan Tana’s Steakhouse in Los Angeles. Isn’t it funny how the promise of a new season in the spotlight can all of a sudden cause a pair who vowed to “never speak again” to once again become BFFs?
