Paris Hilton Poses in Gold Paint

Paris Hilton is posing nude – tastefully, of course – and all in gold. What’s the heiress up to?

Paris Hilton is promoting a new drink called Rich Prosecco, by posing all in gold for their ad campaign. The beverage is a sparkling wine sold in cans. The significance of the nude Hilton painted gold? If nothing else, the pose is memorable and perhaps will stick in consumers’ minds with the less-than-subtle imagery. You have to wonder if it will get anyone to buy champagne in a can, however.

Hilton created the new beverage line, leading many to wonder if this is what she had in mind when she said she would make a difference in the world when she got out of jail? By Hilton’s standards, it’s a start. Keep in mind, however, she was in jail for a DUI charge, so it’s an interesting choice to develop and promote an alcoholic beverage.

Paris Hilton has been in Berlin, Germany to promote the European launch of Rich Prosecco. Hilton was seen taking in the Berlin sites and even taking a spin down a snow covered hill on a snow tube.

The beverage, which comes in original, passion fruit and strawberry flavors, will be available in the U.S. in 2008.

Paris Hilton is also becoming more aware of the environment these days, conserving water, energy and fuel. According to Hilton, she has changed her light bulbs to the energy efficient variety, plans to buy a hybrid car and turns the water off when not in use. Hilton commented that she's doing “Little things that people can do every day to make a huge difference.”
