Airport Altercation

19-year old Nikki and her father Carl were awaiting departure in an airport lounge when the whole ordeal began. Apparently, the father-daughter duo had a heated exchange with former America's Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden and her mother over seating. Words soon escalated into violence, resulting in the arrest of Carl, Nikki and Bianca. The extent of Bianca's mother's injuries was severe enough to warrant an airlift to the nearest hospital.

The Charges

Both ladies were arrested and charged with assault and Mr. Blonsky has been slapped with the much more serious charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm.

Budding Diva?

You may remember Nikki Blonsky as the girl who won the nationwide audition to play the role of Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray, starring alongside Zac Efron and Amanda Bynes. Before getting the role, Blonsky worked at a local Cold Stone Creamery ice cream shop. One would think that coming from such humble beginnings and not having lived the Hollywood lifestyle for very long, Nikki would be a little more humble herself.

Humility seems to no longer be a word in Blonsky's vocabulary as sources say she has begun displaying ugly, diva behaviors like pulling out of singing at an appearance claiming to be sick and then traipsing all over town not appearing to be sick at all. Reports also state that Blonsky and her mother have complained about their posh accommodations when making appearances. In fact, some reports say that Blonsky's mother has made it "impossible" to work with Nikki.

Hopefully, the young and promising actress learns from her and other rising stars' mistakes and begins behaving like a grown up and then, tells her parents to do the same.
