Nicole Richie's Unusual, Erratic Behavior

Nicole Richie is joining her young Hollywood cohorts in the news again -- this time it's her erratic and unusual behavior that has everyone wondering what's wrong with The Simple Life star?

Richie, who has sought treatment for an eating disorder, tried to make a mockery of her situation by sending her friends a "weight-limit" e-mail invitation to a May 27, 2007 Memorial Day weekend party. However, most didn't get her joke. According to People.com, the invite stated, "Let's glorify this day in your sluttiest tops and your tightest pair of Tsubi jeans, even though we have no clue what Memorial Day really means!! There will be a scale at the front door. No girls over 100 pounds allowed in. Start starving yourself now. See you all then!!!"

However, Richie told Ryan Seacrest during an interview on KIIS-FM radio a few days later that she doesn't understand why the e-mail would upset anyone because it shouldn't have been taken seriously.

Just a day after her party, Richie attended a shindig at pal Paris Hilton's house. However, on her way home, she backed into another car at a gas station. But instead of getting upset, the woman whose car Richie hit gave her a hug.

And if hitting another car wasn't enough for Richie, yet one more day later, while getting her nails done in a Beverly Hills salon, the skinny starlet received a ticket for parking her BMW in a passenger loading zone. Obviously the ticket meant nothing to her, according to TMZ.com, because she was more concerned about locating her lost car keys. Richie, who is awaiting trial from the December 2006 arrest for driving the wrong way on a California freeway while under the influence of alcohol, simply tried to brush the ticket off her car with the wipers.

If she doesn't watch herself, Richie could end up like her gal pals -- either behind bars like Paris Hilton or in rehab with Lindsay Lohan for her erratic behavior. Only time will tell what will happen with this young Hollywood star.
