Kidman was on celebrity baby watch denying pregnancy rumors, as it seems that most celebrities do these days, for a short time until finally confirming that she and husband Keith Urban were expecting. When asked about the denials, Nicole responded with a candid interview in Vanity Fair regarding her past two miscarriages with ex-husband Tom Cruise. Given the pain that she endured after losing two babies with Cruise, it was no surprise that she and new husband Urban decided to keep their pregnancy news to themselves for a while.

After his lovely wife gave birth to an equally as lovely daughter named Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, the country star announced on his website that mom and baby were doing just fine and the couple felt "very blessed and grateful" to share the happy news with family, friends and fans.

Sunday Rose is Urban's first child and Kidman's third. She has two adopted children, Connor and Isabella, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

A Happy Ending to a Rocky Start

Shortly after Kidman and Urban wed, Keith entered rehab for a self-admitted alcohol problem. That was the singer's second trip to rehab, doing his first stint in the late 1990's to overcome a cocaine addiction. Throughout the entire ordeal, Kidman stood fast by her new husband's side and Urban has publicly expressed his gratitude multiple times regarding his "extraordinary" wife.
