Nick Hogan Celebrates Birthday in Jail

From Juvenile to Adult

Turning 18 has huge implications in every person's life. You can officially vote, drive a car without restrictions and enter into legal and binding contracts. For Nick Hogan, it means the transfer from a juvenile detention facility to a county jail, where the adults live. Granted, it isn't like he's going to San Quentin or anything and county jails have a supposed less violent atmosphere then say, a prison - still, it has got to be scary for the baby faced 18 year old.

Celebrating with the Family Behind Bars

Even though parents Linda and Terry "The Hulk" Hogan are in the middle of a contentious and bitter divorce, they put down the boxing gloves to make a birthday video for their son and visit him in jail. Hulk brought a cake that he could only show his son and then left it for "…all the people in there who are working so hard." Mom Linda chose to bring her son a skateboard. Not sure about that one, given that Nick turned his modified Toyota Supra in to literally, a mangled mess of metal.

Nick is set to be released from jail in March 2009. After his released he is to serve five years probation and his drivers license is suspended until he turns 21.
