Naked Celebrities
From LoveToKnow Celebrity
There are many pictures and videos of naked celebs out there in the vast library of the Internet.
How Naked Celebs Happen
Aside from the obvious videos and pictures done purposely like those of Paris Hilton and Pam Anderson, most well respected celebrities expose themselves unwittingly. There have been many-a-celebrity that has fallen victim to the "accidental exposure" of their normally covered up body parts.
The Flashbulb Factor
One of the things that dumbfounds the public regarding naked celebs is this: How many women have to have their picture taken in opaque tops, only to have their breasts exposed by the flashing lightbulbs? Here's what happens: a celebrity slips on a shirt, which in the natural daylight does not seem as though it is see-through, this type of material is referred to as opaque. Opaque shirts are not as sheer as say your garden variety sheer curtains, but they are not as thick as the average cotton shirt.
So, celebrities don these types of lightweight shirts or dresses and ride off to some Hollywood event. Upon their arrival, the press and paparazzi begin furiously snapping pictures. The resulting affect of all these brightly flashing bulbs? The once non-see through garment becomes completely see through. This is a minor mishap if the celeb is wearing undergarments, if not, it is a major oops. Here is a list of the celebrities that have fallen victim to the flashbulb factor:- Jessica Alba
- Madonna
- Jennifer Lopez
- Anne Hathaway
- Tara Reid
- Rebecca Romijn
The Wardrobe Malfunctions
This phrase made it into the English language lexicon during the famed 2004 Super Bowl half time show involving Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake. Here's a recap: He went to rip off a "tear away" part of her shirt, supposedly resulting in the exposure of a bra. Instead, the whole thing tore off, exposing much more than a bra. Miss Jackson is not the only celebrity that has experienced this very public type of wardrobe malfunction:
Mishap #1 - During a performance at an August 2007 show in Toronto, Beyonce's flowing shirt flew up nearly over her head, exposing her body from the waist up. Her publicist claims she was wearing a flesh colored bra, but those who have seen the video beg to differ.
Mishap #2 – At yet a different show, Miss Knowles was dancing a little ditty using a stripper pole and although she is clearly wearing underwear, the ahem…coverage is a bit lacking.
Britney Spears – The girl has made some mistakes, and her night on the town sans underwear happens to be one of them. To her credit, she did take full responsibility for the error in judgment and didn't give some lame excuse, like she was really wearing flesh colored underwear.
Naked Celebs in Movies and Print
Either before or after they became big box-office draws, many celebs have appeared in movies completely nude.
- Halle Berry – Berry filmed a controversial sex scene with Billy Bob Thornton in the film Monster's Ball.
- Angelina Jolie – Jolie appeared nude with Antonio Banderas in the film Original Sin. The actress also appeared topless with co-star Ethan Hawke in the thriller Taking Lives.
- Katie Holmes – This squeaky clean Dawson's Creek actress wasn't so squeaky clean in the film The Gift, in which she bares it all.
- Charlize Theron – Being nude was not difficult for this former Playboy model in the 1996 film 2 Days in The Valley.
- Sharon Stone – Aside from her flashing-a-la-Britney in Basic Instinct, Stone appears nude in the film alongside actor Michael Douglas
- Madonna – This controversial music icon is completely nude in her extremely controversial and extremely explicit 1992 book Sex. This book caused such an uproar that it was sold in a black sealed sleeve.
A Final Word About Naked Celebs
There are very few celebrities that have never appeared nude in a major motion picture. Some celebs appear naked in non-major motion pictures (read: home movies) either by choice or unknowingly. Regardless of how they appear nude, there is, needless to say, no shortage of naked celebs in the world.
