Lohan's Slated for Reality Show
From LoveToKnow Celebrity
Awhile ago, rumors were circulating about the Lohans pitching a reality show. Well, it seems those rumors were true, as Dina and Ali Lohan are slated to star in their own reality series beginning this summer.
The Show
Lindsay's 14-year-old little sis Ali has dreams of becoming a Hollywood starlet and mom Dina is determined to help make her youngest daughter's dreams come true. In a little case of De ja vu, Dina is working as Ali's manager and the show is not only based upon making Ali as popular as her older sister Lindsay, but her attempt to "…strike a balance between family and career." That should be interesting to see, as she made this attempt years ago with Lindsay and we all know how that went.
The Lohan boys, Cody and Michael, are reportedly making a few appearances, but will not be actively participating in the show.
About Ali Lohan
Ali, whose full first name is Aliana, has a burning desire to be famous like her big sister. She was once quoted as saying "I want it so bad, you don't even know." The public has seen her face mostly next to Lindsay's and Dina's at various red carpet events. She is trying to make a name for herself though, as she released a Christmas album titled Lohan Christmas when she was 12.
About Dina Lohan
Dina Lohan has been crucified by the public for her parenting skills (or lack thereof) with Lindsay when she was a budding teenage starlet. Dina was often seen attending Hollywood parties with her young daughter and accused of riding the wave of Lindsay's success to her own benefit.
When Lindsay's life began to spiral out of control, Dina was often blamed for pulling the reigns in on her "wild-child" daughter. That same "wild-child" gene seems to run in the family as it seems that Ali neither looks nor acts like she is 14.
A Sign of Things to Come?
In 2007, a 13-year-old Ali Lohan apparently snuck out of her house to meet her 16-year-old boyfriend. Their secret rendezvous was cut short as the two were involved in a minor traffic accident later that evening.
This incident of course begs the question: If Dina can't seem to "strike a balance between family and career" when the cameras aren't rolling, is she really going to be able to when they are?
