A History of Conflict

Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton have had a bumpy history, with an on-again/off-again friendship that has had some ugly verbal exchanges. This latest war of the words, perhaps just a slip by Lohan, again puts the hot topic of Hollywood friendships in the spotlight.

Was it a Joke?

From viewing the video on YouTube, it seems that Lohan is initially sincere about her insult, but then she immediately withdraws the comment, saying "I never said that. Paris is my friend... No, I love her." Is it a case of Lohan putting on her acting face to try and smooth the waters? A friend in the backseat of the SUV that Lohan was riding in said "She’s kidding" following Lohan’s remark. Clearly, she did make the comment, then seconds later, rescinded it.

Lindsay Lohan – "Party Girl"

This latest verbal assault comes just days after Lindsay Lohan told Oprah that she is not the "party girl" that the media makes her out to be. The four-letter word about Paris was, however, uttered following a night out, with Lohan appearing to have had a drink (or two). Time will only tell if Paris retaliates over the comment.
