Lindsay Lohan Oops Moments

Well, unfortunately for her, she has had a lot of them. Some, maybe not her fault, but many or her slip-ups are definitely her fault. Recently, Lindsay seems to be settling down and has stayed out of the negative spotlight - we'll see how long that will last.

The Various Slips and Flips

Slips referring to her tops and flips referring to her skirts here. Lindsay, like another starlet that shall remain nameless, has over-exposed herself on numerous occasions:

• Slip 1 – Lindsay was photographed after a night out getting into a car when she sort of "spilled out" of the top of her low cut dress, twice.
• Slip 2 – While frolicking at the beach with Calum Best, Lindsay, once again, slips out of her bathing suit top.

• Slip 3 – White see through tank top…sans bra. Will she ever learn?
• Slip 4 – While attending a GM fashion event, Lohan's dress was a little too loose when she turned to the side, once again, exposing herself.
• Flip 1 – Lindsay is stepping off a boat in a beautiful green dress when the wind catches it and flips it up. You guessed it, no undergarments here.
• Flip 2 – Getting into a car, photographed with a short skirt on and nothing underneath.

The Arrests

A couple of the biggest Lindsay Lohan oops moments were when she was arrested multiple times for drunk driving:

• Arrest 1 – May 2007, Lohan crashed her $100,000 car and left the scene of the accident. She was later formally booked on drunk driving charges. After the arrest, she spent a couple of weeks in rehab.
• Arrest 2 – July of 2007, while still wearing an ankle monitor that detects alcohol, Lohan was pulled over for suspicion of drunk driving. She was given a field sobriety test and a breathalyzer, both of which she failed. The two male passengers with her were also given breathalyzers, which they passed.

Lindsay Lohan's Career

Slips and Flips are one thing and the arrests, not good things by any means, but she can recover from those. The mistakes that Lindsay has made that have a detrimental affect her career are the ones from which she may not be able to recover. Before she was out of her teens, Lohan was a bankable starlet. Herbie Fully Loaded (2005) grossed nearly $20 million within its first five days of being released and the previous year Mean Girls had an estimated $24 million opening weekend. After her arrests, her 2007 I Know Who Killed Me grossed a dismal $3.5 million in its opening weekend.

Studio Execs Lash Out

First, it was the now infamous letter that Morgan Creek's James G. Robinson wrote to Lohan in response to her arriving late on the set of Georgia Rule, if at all, claiming she was "dehydrated". Here are some of the things he had to say:

• "We are well aware that your on-going all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so called "exhaustion." We refuse to accept bogus excuses for your behavior."
• "You have acted like a spoiled child and in doing so have alienated many of your co-workers and endangered the quality of this picture.'"

Mr. Robinson went on to let Lindsay know that if she did not show up on time, every time, he would hold her personally and financially responsible. Other studio executives that have worked with Lindsay have said:

• "She had the world at her feet and right now, she would have to pay a studio to get herself into a movie."
• "Her troubles are what made her famous. Her films don't open. She's a pain to work with. I think she's done."

Can She Rebuild Her Career?

No one will say because no one really knows. A few celebrities have made it back into the good graces of Hollywood after hitting bottom. She is funny and most executives do think she is talented. As a matter of fact, the same studio exec that lashed out at Lindsay in the very beginning, James Robinson, has said he would hire her back "in a hearbeat" after she takes "..time to get the proper medical care" and when she is "in the right emotional state." So, the man that called her out publicly for her unprofessional behavior, just might be the only man in Hollywood that can help Lindsay revive her career. Stranger things have happened.
