Kirsten Dunst Enters Rehab

Kirsten Dunst has joined the long list of celebrities that have checked themselves into rehab.

Erratic Behavior

Apparently, while attending a Sundance Film Festival event, Dunst was acting "erratically." An unnamed source claimed that the actress "has never been the same since she broke up with Jak,e" referring to Dunst's former boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal. Others were quoted as saying that she was behaving as though she was "on the verge of a nervous breakdown." Upon hearing the hushed talk about her behavior, Dunst's camp released a statement saying that she was absolutely fine.

Checking in at Cirque Lodge

Sound familiar? Well it should. Cirque Lodge is where Lindsay Lohan completely her most recent rehab stint, where Mary-Kate Olsen lived while getting treatment for her eating disorders and where Eva Mendes is currently residing. The Utah rehab center seems to be an obvious favorite amongst celebrities.

Dunst's Rehab Reason

Well, there really isn't one. Not a clear one anyway. Given the comments that have been made about the Spider-Man actress, it seems that she is seeking help for emotional issues and not substance abuse issues. Kirsten Dunst's representatives have not yet released a statement regarding her treatment. Sources claiming they are close to Dunst have stated that she is "…not in a good place right now" and Dunst was quoted in an interview as saying "Sometimes creative people can be very dark and destructive." With quotes like that, it does seem that she may have a few emotional issues to deal with or maybe it is just the pressure of the "Hollywood" lifestyle--you know, being gorgeous, talented, wealthy and famous.
