Kim Kardashian Sex Tape and Lawsuit
From LoveToKnow Celebrity
The sale of a Kim Kardashian sex tape recently made headlines and Kardashian is not happy. The socialite plans to sue the video company that wants to market her escapades with actor/rapper Ray J.
About Kardashian
Kim Kardashian, 26, has become famous by association. Most notably, she is the buddy of socialite Paris Hilton and the daughter of attorney Robert Kardashian. Her father, who passed away in 2003, was the defense attorney for O.J. Simpson. Kardashian is also a fashion designer and stylist, and has been romantically linked with Nick Lachey, rapper The Game and Nick Cannon. Her sex tape is about to make her even more notable.
About the Kim Kardashian Sex Tape
The Kim Kardashian sex tape made news in mid-January 2007, with video company Vivid Entertainment reportedly paying $1 million to a third party for the tape. The company plans to market it as Kim Kardashian Superstar. Seems she and Hilton, who made a sex tape a few years ago called 1 Night in Paris, now have even more in common.
The Kim Kardashian sex tape was made three years ago and features Kardashian with then-boyfriend Ray J, who is an actor, rapper and the brother of pop star Brandy.
The Lawsuit
According to Kardashian, she did not make an agreement with Vivid Entertainment to market the video. As a result, she is filing a lawsuit in an attempt to stop the release of the DVD. "We are comfortable that we have the legal right to distribute this video, despite what others may say," said company Cochairman Steven Hirsch of the lawsuit. In response, Kardashian told E! News, "We're just going to get to the bottom of this and do whatever we have to do to stop it." She doesn’t believe that Ray J has anything to do with the sale of the video.
