Kevin Federline: Don't Quit Your Day Job

From LoveToKnow Celebrity

It looks like Kevin Federline won’t get that street cred he’s been craving so much.

Britney introduced K-Fed's reportedly underwhelming performance.

According to the majority of reviews, Kevin Federline’s performance at the Teen Choice Awards this past Sunday (August, 2006) was somewhat less than good. In fact, to hear it described by those who had the misfortune of sitting through it, it was downright bad.

Laughed At by the Hip Hop Community

Federline, who was introduced by his wife, Britney Spears, was the most anticipated performance of the evening. It as also the most panned. According to Elliot Wilson, Editor in Chief of XXL magazine, "I just think we ignore him ... He's a joke, basically. I just don't think he gets it.”

“K-Fed”, not so modestly, rapped about his ability to rhyme, drink Cristal, marry a celebrity and wear bling, seemed to only impress himself. According to MSNBC.com, the hip hop community finds him quite laughable. It’s not only the critics, either. Hip hop aficionados and viewers of the Teen Choice Awards also found his performance less than inspiring. By morning, amateur reviews of his performance were all over the Internet, and few of them were good. In fact, most reviews were downright cruel.

If you missed the performance, don’t despair. Copies abound online. In addition to numerous gossip blogs, you can find the performance on YouTube.

OK Kevin, it was a fun little hobby, but maybe it’s time to go back to your day job.

The Federlines married in 2004 and have one child with aonther on the way.
