Katy Perry Cozies up to Paris' Ex

Is Paris Hilton about to make another enemy as Katy Perry cozies up to her ex-boyfriend, Benji Madden?

Okay, so the rumor is that Miss "I kissed a girl and I liked it" (just try to get that song out of your head now), was spotted kissing Benji Madden at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York. Of course, neither Perry nor Madden have confirmed or denied the alleged kissing and dancing.

Maybe it was the romance of Valentine's Day that turned Perry's heart aflutter for the heavily tatted Good Charlotte front man, or maybe it was the drink. Who knows, but they've got everyone abuzz with their alleged lip-lock.

No word on any sort of reaction from Paris Hilton, but we can all assume she's heard and sent text messages to everyone she knows. Seriously, is she ever not texting when she's in public? Anyway, back to the Katy-Benji mashup.

Does this mean an end to Katy's avowed celibacy? Well, when asked about her promise, not so much as smooch a boy (or girl) and only her cat, Kitty Purry, she replied that she was just joking. Perry went on to say that she would "rather die" than be celibate for an entire year.

The comment came on the heels of her split from boyfriend and lead singer of Gym Class Heroes, Travis McCoy. Judging from his blog that went something like "We fight every night and that's not Kosher" and "You act like you're ten," there was evidently no Cupid's Chokehold on the couple.
