- Mission: Impossible III (2006) – Played the role of Declan, opposite Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
- August Rush (2007) – This film is set to be released on November 21, 2007 and stars Keri Russell, Robin Williams and Freddie Highmore.
The Arrest
Rhys-Meyers entered a Dublin airport, apparently on his way to London. The actor then began acting "erratically" and was warned by airport police to tone down his behavior. Not taking heed of the warning, the actor then launched into a booze-filled tirade directed at a female British Midlands airline employee and airport police called in the Irish National Police force, Garda Siochana. Rhys-Meyers was then arrested and released on bail.
A History of Drinking
Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is no stranger to the drink. In April 2007, he checked himself into a rehab facility for alcohol addiction, only to check himself out two weeks later. Given his recent arrest, maybe he should consider completing his treatment.
