Jon Gosselin Claims Abuse

In a recent interview, Jon Gosselin claimed abuse - and if you've ever heard the way his estranged wife Kate has ever spoken to him on the show, you might have the tendency to agree.

Speaking Out

For the first time since this whole Jon and Kate divorce mess began, Jon sat down with Good Morning America's Chris Cuomo for a little heart to heart. Though he has been photographed many times by the paparazzi, the much maligned father of eight children has never publicly spoken out about his split from his wife.

The Interview

The conversation in the interview in which Jon Gosselin claims abuse was much more mild than it sounds at first. Basically, Jon stated that Kate did not consider him to be a successful man because he was home taking care of the kids while she was jet setting around the country promoting the show and her books. He also went on to say that he despised the things that she said about him and their failed marriage publicly because he does not believe she is telling the truth.

Jon claims that things that she says to him in private (does that really happen?) are far, far different than the things she says about him in public.

Though many of us wish that these two would just go off quietly into the night and handle their personal business behind closed doors, it doesn't seem likely to happen anytime soon.
