Jenn Schefft Announces Engagement

Okay, just for a little refresher about just who Jenn Schefft is, she was the girl on The Bachelor chosen by Andrew Firestone way back in season three. Well, as these things go with The Bachelor, Schefft and Firestone split less than a year after they were engaged. As these things go with ABC (they seem to like to recycle and reuse their former contestants, don't they?) Schefft was invited to be the focus of The Bachelorette season three. She rejected both her would be suitors, leaving them broken hearted and her alone. Finally, as for Firestone, he moved on, married a model and they are expecting their first child together.

Along Comes a Blind Date

So, years down the road, Schefft goes out on a blind date. She didn't "click" with her date and as it turns out, he knew someone he thought she just might like and introduced her to his friend Joe Waterman. Apparently, Waterman was the one for Jenn as the couple just announced their engagement. The soon-to-be Mrs. Waterman stated that "I guess it's true, things move fast when you meet the right person" or, you know, when you date a man on national television.

Of course, this isn't the first time Schefft has announced that she is getting married... call us cynical, but we'll just wait about a year to see if this one sticks. Okay, okay, enough of the cynicism - congrats you two lovebirds.
