The term "hot" can be used with several different meanings. Hot celebrity pics could refer to:

• Extremely new pictures, which are announced with all of the hype that usually accompanies breaking news.
• Images of sexy or scantily clad stars.
• Photos that capture celebrities in moments they don't realize are being photographed, as with paparazzi snapshots.
• Pictures of the stars in embarrassing or unusual circumstances.

Most of the time, however, "hot" refers to attractive celebrities in sexy poses, or wearing revealing clothing.

Almost every celebrity has his or her own following and photos become important to fans. Whether you're into Beyonce Knowles and her superb wardrobe or more interested in the classic good looks of Matthew McConaughey, you'll have no problem hunting down photos of popular stars.

Not all photography is created equally and sometimes a mundane event or situation will elicit a hot celebrity photo. On the other hand, there are always the usual types of hot celeb pictures. For example:

• A wardrobe malfunction can easily result in a hot celebrity image, completely unintended by both the star and the photographer.
• Celebrities who think they are at a secluded location on vacation are often barraged by paparazzi, who take photos of the stars in swimwear or even topless.
• X-rated pictures, like those in Playboy or other popular adult magazines, often find their way online.

• The Hollywood Gossip – Some of these pictures do contain nudity, but the unmentionables are censored out. You can browse the photos by celebrity name, or use the television show categories.

• Celebrity Rumors – This is a blog devoted to celebrities, that contains galleries of photos along with rumors that accompany them.

• Hollywood.com – Here you'll find lots of celebrity photos, as well as a collection of still shots from movies that are often steamier than regular pictures.

• Splash News and Picture Agency – Splash prides itself on having the most up to date pictures and celebrity news, so if a star has been seen frolicking on the beach in a barely-there swimsuit, you're likely to find the photo here.

• TMZ – TMZ became so popular with readers that it spawned its own television show. They have dozens of photographers on staff always looking for a hot new celebrity image.

• Perez Hilton – Perez Hilton is another celebrity blogger who went from an unknown to a celebrity favorite. His Hollywood gossip blog almost always features some terrific celebrity photos, even if they've been scooped from other sources.

• Mr. Paparazzi – This blog has original photos and videos of the stars, and lots of commentary on what the celebs are wearing.

Some celebrity photo websites can contain ads that display nudity or offensive material. Some also use pop-up advertising, which can sometimes interfere with your browsing. Screen sites carefully, and if in doubt, stick to familiar website names that you know and trust.
