Are They or Aren't They?

Those "in the know" claimed three months ago that Hayden and Milo were a couple. She, being 18 and Milo being 30, both vehemently denied the rumors. Their response to the tongue-wagging behavior - hence the equally tongue-wagging rumors - was always "we're just friends" or some line about how they work together so they have to attend functions together. My how things have changed.

After Hayden and Milo were seen at various functions dancing together, holding hands and whispering in each other's ears, it seems that him cutting her steak (chivalrous or treating her like a child? You be the judge…) at the post-Emmy Awards Governor's Ball was the give-away. So, are they or aren't they? People magazine claims they are, but just in case you need your own proof:

• He has met her family.
• He paid tribute to her in a toast during a dinner that was attended by the Heroes cast members in which he reportedly referred to the starlet as his "girlfriend" and that he "loved her."
• They appear seemingly everywhere standing thisclose.
• Check out this YouTube clip of Hayden and Milo dancing at the above mentioned Governor's Ball and decide for yourself if that is how "just friends" dance together.

The Age Difference

The difference between 18 and 30 is pretty big as far as number of years, but even bigger when it comes to maturity.

People make it work though -- look at the poster-couple for so-called "May-December" romances Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. The two have 15 years between them and she had an intimidating ex-husband (Bruce Willis) and three children when they met. Their relationship goes to show that you just can't predict what is going to happen when it comes to two people in love.
