Heidi and Spencer Not Married

Though the world has had enough of these two publicity mongers, it must be said that it's true, Heidi and Spencer are not married.

Fake Wedded Bliss

The exceedingly annoying (please…make it stop) couple has sullied up the cover of many a tabloid over the past few weeks claiming their wedded bliss. Okay, they both didn't sully up the covers, because in most people's eyes, Heidi is a very pretty lady. Anyway, the two went on and on about how they exchanged their (reportedly) tequila soaked "I Do's" in Mexico.

Well, in case the two didn't know it, Mexico isn't part of the United States and you actually have to file specific paperwork (you know…like a marriage license and evidence of a pre-nuptial medical exam) for the union to be legal.

So, it was never possible for their so-called spontaneous decision to marry to actually be spontaneous.

L.A. Courthouse

As the un-married couple returned to Los Angeles, they apparently decided to make their wedding legal by exchanging vows at an L.A. courthouse. Rumor has it that when asked if she would take her man "for better or for worse"—not sure there is a better when it comes to Spencer, but anyway - she enthusiastically said "I do." When it came Spencer's turn to take Heidi as his "…lawfully wedded wife" his reply was "I don't". Not surprised? Neither is anyone else.

The Excuse

Spencer claims that he didn't say "I do" because he wants to give Heidi the wedding of her dreams. With Spencer's track record of being an honest and forthcoming kind of guy, that's easy to believe. Right?
