Halle Berry to Shave Head for New Role
From LoveToKnow Celebrity
Academy-award winning actress Halle Berry said she will shave off her luscious locks during a scene in her upcoming movie, Nappily Ever After.
Scared to Death
In this movie, which is scheduled for release in 2008, Berry, 40, plays a woman who discovers her hair is falling out following an illness and decides to shave it off. As a result, she must deal with people's perceptions of how she was defined by her hair. Berry recently explained her choice for shaving her head in her upcoming movie: "In the course of the story something bad happens to my character’s hair and she shaves it all off," reports Fametastic.com. "I suppose going bald could be a little exciting too, though, so we’ll probably film the process beginning to end."
Bald is Beautiful
Halle Berry is not the first celebrity to shave his or her head:
