Gisele and Tom Brady Engaged

Supermodel Gisele and New England Patriot Tom Brady are officially engaged.

Gisele Bundchen is famously known for her Victoria's Secret ad campaigns and was once equally famous for dating Leonardo DiCaprio. That relationship fizzled in 2005 and Leo moved on to another model (Bar Rafaeli) and Gisele began dating New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Although Brady had the reputation of being this sort of "All American" boy, things weren't so squeaky clean in his personal life when he and Gisele met.

When former girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, announced that she was pregnant, Mr. All American was off in Paris, gallivanting with Gisele, whom, it was rumored, he began dating before he and Bridget called it quits. The tabloids, of course, had the pictures to prove it and Tom's squeaky clean image began showing cracks.

When Tom returned to the states, he made no comment about the pregnancy. To make matters worse, rumors began circulating that Brady's reps were rumbling that Moynahan got pregnant on purpose. Needless to say, Mr. Brady was met with many boos and hisses at the next New England game.

So, moving forward to 2008, Tom and Gisele have now been dating for two years and he obviously believes she's marriage material. He proposed to her on a plane ride from Boston to New Jersey. The plane was reportedly decorated with white roses for the occasion. Although no date has been set, the two plan on exchanging vows sometime in 2009 in Costa Rica.
