George Clooney Injures Ribs in Motorcycle Accident

Injury Status

Clooney has a hairline rib fracture and Larson’s foot is broken. Both Clooney and Larson were treated and released following the accident, and are reported to be doing well.

The Accident

The accident occurred in the mid-afternoon of September 21, 2007 when Clooney’s Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Mazda Millenia collided in Weehawken, New Jersey. The accident is currently under investigation.

Larson was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Clooney drove his Harley Davidson to the hospital. The driver of the automobile, Weehawken resident Albert Sciancaledore, was not injured.

About Clooney and Larson

Clooney and Larson have reportedly been linked since June 2007, following the premier of Oceans Thirteen at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, where Larson was employed as a cocktail waitress.

Larson attended both the Venice and Deauville film festivals with Clooney earlier in September 2007.

Clooney’s Current Projects

George Clooney is currently filming Burn After Reading in New York, where he has recently been sited in and around town with Larson. Costars include Brad Pitt, John Malkovich and Frances McDormand. Clooney’s injuries from the motorcycle accident are not expected to interfere with the filming schedule.

Larson is no stranger to television. Fans of NBC’s primetime hit Fear Factor may recognize her from the 2005 program, which she and her then-boyfriend Dan Randolph won.
