Full House Actress is Pregnant
From LoveToKnow Celebrity
Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner on television’s Full House, is pregnant with her first child.
About Jodie Sweetin
Jodie Sweetin started her career at just four years old appearing in a hot dog commercial. She made her debut on a 1987 episode of The Hogan Family before being cast on the family friendly series Full House. She played Stephanie Tanner from 1997 through the show’s end in 1995, co-starring with the Olsen Twins, John Stamos, Bob Saget, and Candace Cameron.
Life After Full House
Following Full House, Sweetin graduated from high school and attended Chapman University, studying mass communications. She made guest appearances on a handful of TV shows, including Party of Five, Brotherly Love and Yes, Dear, and did several commercials.
In 2002, Sweetin married police officer Shaun Holguin.
Downward Spiral
Sweetin suffered the pitfall of many child actors when she started using crystal meth. She checked into rehab after alcohol and meth usage led her to the emergency room. She appeared in a 2006 Good Morning America interview to talk about her ordeal, saying that she had used the drug for more than two years and that five of her teeth had rotted due to drug use. She and Holguin were divorced that same year.
Comeback?
Sweetin got her life back on track and started to make a comeback when she hosted Fuse TV’s Pants-Off Dance Off from 2006 to 2007. She also provided her voice talents for the film Farce of the Penguins and is a public speaker, discussing her meth addiction and recovery.
Marriage and Pregnancy
Sweetin married set designer Cody Herpin on July 14, 2007 in Las Vegas. TMZ.com reported on September 11, 2007 that the actress is pregnant.
