Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Wed

The Engagement

Ellen DeGeneres, 50, and Portia de Rossi, 35, first hooked up in 2004 and have been a solid and seemingly happy couple ever since. Earlier this summer, DeGeneres presented her girlfriend with a three carat pink diamond engagement ring from high-end jeweler Neil Lane.

DeGeneres later announced on her talk show that the couple had set a wedding date. The announcement came soon after the California Supreme court ruled that the ban on gay marriages was unconstitutional.

The Wedding

The wedding was a small and private ceremony of less than 20 people that included only family and the couple's closest friends. Both Portia and Ellen were dressed in clothes designed by Zac Posen. Portia opted for a beautiful soft pink gown with a flowing train while DeGeneres chose a pair of white pants, button down dress shirt and a vest. The couple exchanged their own written vows and Neil Lane rings, at the home they share in Los Angeles.

Wedding Footage

While you can expect to find a few pictures of the ceremony on the Internet, DeGeneres has hinted around that she will show a few bits and pieces of the ceremony on The Ellen Show, but hasn't announced when. So all you Ellen fans will just have to tune in to the upcoming fall season of the Emmy Award winning show.
