Elizabeth Hurley Weds Businessman in Private Ceremony

It was a weekend of weddings for actress Elizabeth Hurley and new husband Arun Nayar.
Civil and Religious Ceremonies
According to reports, the couple apparently tied the knot in a private civil ceremony March 2, 2007 at Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe, England. The next day, in a more public religious service, Hurley, 41, and Nayar, 42, were married again at the same location, about 125 miles west of London. Hurley and Nayar will spend the next week in India celebrating their wedding and taking part in an Indian ceremony.
How They Met
The couple met through mutual friends and have dated since 2003. The groom, an Indian businessman, was previously married to Valentina Pedroni, an Italian model. Hurley, whose son, Damien, was born during her relationship with film producer Steve Bing, dated actor Hugh Grant for more than 10 years.
The two spend most of their time on Hurley's 400-acre farm in Gloucestershire, England.
Who Attended Hurley and Nayar's Nuptials?
According to People magazine, Grant, Sir Elton John, Kate Moss and Elle Macpherson, among roughly 250 others, were all in attendance at the public ceremony. Only a handful of friends witnessed the private wedding.
About the Couple
Hurley, an actress and model, is best known for her roles in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) and Bedazzled (2000). She recently co-starred in the 2006 film, The Last Guy on Earth. Hurley is also the face for Estee Lauder fragrances and cosmetics.
Nayar is the co-founder and chairman of Direction Software Solutions, and heir to a textiles company.
