Although Christina Aguilera and hubby Jordan Bratman have not yet announced whether the new family member is a boy or a girl, reps for the two have confirmed that the once mom-to-be is now officially a mom.
About Aguilera and Bratman
Christina and Jordan met in 2002 while he was working at Azoff Music Management. The couple quietly dated for three years and in 2005, Bratman proposed, reportedly in a room filled with rose petals and balloons. A month after the proposal, the couple gathered their families together to announce the engagement.
The Wedding
In November 2005 the couple wed in Napa Valley, California, exchanging their vows in front of 130 guests. Aguilera wore a Christian Lacroix gown and the bridesmaid's dresses were designed by Stevie Wonder's wife Kai Milla.
Baby Announcement
After two years of marriage, Aguilera and Bratman announced that they were expecting their first child together. This official announcement from the couple did not come before Paris Hilton's blab while at a party at the LAX Nightclub. Hilton reportedly stated "Congratulations to the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world. You're gorgeous." The couple officially confirmed their pregnancy a short time later.
No Announcement of Gender or Name
After the baby was born, Aguilera and Bratman sent a text message to family and friends stating that mom and baby were doing just fine. No announcement yet on the name or gender of the baby…although Christina's baby shower did feature the color blue.
