Reps for the singer confirmed that Celine Dion is pregnant with her second child.

Second Baby on the Way

41-year old Celine Dion, being the youngest of 14 children, has never made it a secret that she wanted more children of her own after the birth of her son Rene-Charles in 2001. Now with the help of a fertility specialist, she and 67-year-old husband Rene are expecting their second child together. Rene has three other children from previous marriages.

Career on Hold?

After her Taking Chances tour ended in February of 2009, Dion decided to take a break from her grueling schedule to spend time with her husband and son. During this career break, Celine and Rene began going to routine visits with the same fertility specialist that helped them conceive Rene-Charles.

After only a few months, the couple learned they were pregnant with their second child, with the baby due in May of 2010. Celine was also planning a big return to Vegas in 2010, but with a newborn, she may just put those plans on hold.

Dion, nor her reps, have commented on whether or not Celine will continue with her Vegas shows or put them on hold to give her time to concentrate on her family - though most believe the singer will delay her return to Vegas after she has the baby.
