This story is really the story of not one but two failed relationships. Lance and Sheryl met at the Grand Slam for Children charity event in Las Vegas in October 2003. According to Sheryl, she knew “pretty quickly” that she was “really into him". Sounds like love’s young dream, right? Probably not if you ask Lance’s wife at the time, Kristin Richards who is the mother of his three children and the woman who had seen him through his struggle with testicular cancer.

In the end, Kristin was out, and Sheryl was in. Lance and Sheryl dated for nearly two years before he proposed in August, 2005, in Sun Valley, Idaho. Happiness lasted until Christmas of that year, when rumors surfaced of trouble in paradise. Though the couple originally denied said rumors, in February, 2006, they officially announced their celebrity shocking split up.

Despite suggestions that a conflict between the “artist temperament” of Sheryl and the “athletic temperament” of Lance lead to the split or that common celeb split cause of hectic work schedules was behind it all, the real reason remains unclear. One thing is for sure, this former couple has managed to avoid bad mouthing each other in the press. When Sheryl was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after their split, Lance told USA Today that the news hit him harder than when he found out he had cancer.

We’ve told you about this split before, but more details have since emerged about the breakdown of Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson's five-year marriage. In hindsight, we can see a few warning signs. She has also told Access Hollywood and Vanity Fair that she questions monogamy, saying if hubby Chris were to cheat, she just wouldn’t want to know.

Kate has denied any involvement with Owen. Owen is threatening law suits against anyone who throws the words “home wrecker” in his direction, but US Weekly and People are having none of it. Both outlets are claiming that more than a little evidence exists suggesting that these two blonde actors are currently making goo-goo eyes at each other.

The drumbeat of media speculation is growing ever louder that Bruce Springsteen and his band mate and wife of 15 years, Patti Scialfa, are headed for divorce. In fact they are already separated and "living separate lives". The reason? Springsteen’s purported relationship with a 9/11 widow he met while organizing his America: A Tribute to Heroes benefit concert.

Bruce and his alleged mistress have been spotted together many times at a beach club in Jersey, while Patti has been seen flying solo with couple’s three children. Bruce and Patti did, however, take a vacation in upstate New York with the kids in July.
