Deep inside, we all love to see the perfect ones slip a notch or two; luckily, the stars provide plenty of celebrity oops for our entertainment. In ways both large and small, celebrities prove everyday that they are only human. Of course, we don't have reporters and camera crews ready to immortalize our missteps.

Wardrobe Malfunction-- Or Calculated Exposure?

Although celebrity oops of the body baring variety have always been well-publicized, most of us had never even uttered the phrase wardrobe malfunction prior to the 2004 Super Bowl. During the game's halftime show, Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson performed a sexy rendition of "Rock Your Body" that ended with Timberlake "accidentally" ripping off Jackson's breastplate. Of course, he also exposed her bejeweled breast in the process. Afterwards, Timberlake offered an apology, "I am sorry if anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction… it was not intentional and is regrettable." A new phrase was coined! Meanwhile, the FCC was flooded with complaints, and the war on indecency had begun. However, that hasn't stopped the seemingly never-endng stream of young and not-quite-so-young starlets suffering dreaded malfunctions.

While Paris Hilton's trademark pose is one of her looking over her shoulder, her upskirt pose is googled far more frequently. Two months before Jackson's overexposure, Hilton offered her own inadvertant peep show. On December 1, 2003, the heiress was snapped getting out of her car. Somehow she had forgotten to wear undies under her short skirt and flashed a whole lot more than leg. In 2006, Hilton had another malfunction while filming a music video in Los Angeles. This time the ditzy blonde was dancing on a beach and accidentally pulled down her own bikini top. Men around the world could be heard exclaiming, "That's hot!" Of course, considering the illicit videos featuring Miss Hilton, it's doubtful she's losing sleep over a nip slip. South African beauty Charlize Theron offered an upskirt photo op while exiting her limousine in late 2004. Fortunately, she was wearing undies, so photogs only captured pics of her lacy lingerie.

During party girl Tara Reid's breast-baring malfunction, she got even more exposure than she bargained for. The incident occurred at Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' birthday party in 2004. As Reid posed for photos, her dress top fell, revealing evidence of a boob job. Unfortunately for Reid, the job was not favorably received. Plastic surgeons far and wide weighed in on the obvious scarring and misshapen nipples. Still, Reid says she understands why photographers snapped the photo rather than alert her to the fallen dress. She says, “How could they not take that picture? I’m sure someone made a million dollars from that picture.”

Lindsay Lohan, New Queen of Celebrity Oops

Teen queen Lindsay Lohan seemingly found a new hobby in 2006. When she wasn't fighting with the Simpson sisters or the Duffs, Lohan could frequently be found flashing her assets. At the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards-- yes, kids-- Lohan decided to go sans panties. As she hurried to the stage to accept an award, her dress rode up, giving shocked children an anatomy lesson their parents never intended. On several other occassions, Lohan "accidentally" exposed her bare breasts, further fueling analysis of her fluctuating chest measurements. Doesn't anyone wear a bra anymore?

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston fell victim to the big sister of the wardrobe malfunction-- the caught in the buff. In happier days, when Brad still sported honey-blonde highlights and the world still believed in a happily ever after for the golden couple, a carefree Jen was caught sunbathing nude outside her home. Quicker than you can say, "Celebrity oops!" Aniston filed a lawsuit, which was settled out of court. Flash forward five years, to December, 2005, and times have changed drastically. Aniston is newly divorced, not quite as carefree, and is once again snapped topless in her yard. Just a thought... sunless tanner.
