This column focuses on the 10 minute celebrities. Those D-listers who seem to be clinging to what little bit of time is left in their 15 minutes of fame. What follows is your 10-Minute Celebrity Gossip for June 2006.
Celebrity Fit Club
The fourth season of VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club will begin Sunday, August 6th at 9 a.m. Hoping to reduce their waistlines are Carnie Wilson of Wilson Philips; Ted Lange, who played Isaac on The Love Boat; The Soprano’s Vinnie Pastore; Baywatch’s Erika Eleniak; Nick Turturro from NYPD Blue; the former Jennifer Keaton of Family Ties, Tina Yothers; singer Angie Stone; and Rapper Bone Crusher.
Chris Knight and Adrienne Curry
Christopher Knight waxed poetic about pork chops and apple sauce on The Brady Bunch. Adrienne Curry strutted her stuff on America’s Top Model. We put up with their flirtations on The Surreal Life and endured weeks of wondering if he’d ever pop the question on the first season of My Fair Brady. It was worth the wait, however. Peter Brady himself, Christopher Knight, and Top Model Adrienne Curry tied the knot on May 29. The bride wore a cream colored Alvina Valenta wedding gown and held a bouquet of black roses. Fellow Brady Bunch alumni, Barry Williams and Susan Olsen also attended the affair. This is Knight’s third marriage and Curry’s first.
Lucky Seven for Apprentice
The fifth Apprentice has barely been hired and already The Donald has signed up for another year of blatant product placement and shameless self promotion. Donald Trump told Variety a seventh season is in the bag and he’s hoping it will be shot in Las Vegas or Miami. Season six, to air in January, will take place in Los Angeles.
Ten Minute Celebrity Baby Watch: Anna Nicole Smith
It’s been confirmed. Anna Nicole Smith is indeed pregnant with her second child. Smith shared the news with the world in a video located on her website. She was very vague about the details and didn’t release information on the baby’s father or her due date.
Rejected Apprentice Lands Dream Gig
Rebecca Jarvis may have come in second to Randal Pinkett, but she proves she’s a true winner. Jarvis is now an Associate Reporter for CNBC.
Dog & Beth Make it Legal
Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman and longtime girlfriend Beth Smith made it legal for once and for all on May 20. The union was bittersweet as the day before, Dog’s 23-year-old daughter, Barbara, died in a tragic car accident. Despite the sad news, the couple decided the marriage must go on.
Needy Screech
Dustin “Screech” Diamond is hawking t-shirts in order to keep his home. Diamond is hoping to sell $250,000 worth of Screech faced t-shirts in order to avoid foreclosure. Diamond is now a stand up comedian.
American Idols in the News
Proving he is indeed an American Idol, Taylor Hicks’ debut single, “Do I Make You Proud” debuted at number one on the Billboard Pop Charts. “Do I Make You Proud” sold 190,000 CDs and 38,000 digital downloads in one week. While these numbers are impressive, they don’t come close to the 396,000 copies of Clay Aiken’s debut single.
Katharine McPhee has revealed that at the same time she was auditioning for "American Idol", she was also suffering from bulimia. McPhee entered the Los Angeles Eating Disorder Center before taping AI to gain control over her eating habits.
For Sale: Hogan House
Hulk Hogan and family are moving to Miami. The Hogans are hoping their mansion, located just outside of Tampa and featured in the VH1 series Hogan Knows Best, will fetch $25 million. If you’re shopping around in the area, the 2.3 acre estate boasts a four car garage, seven fireplaces and a swimming pool with water fall. The move to Miami is to better enable the Hogan kids to pursue acting and singing careers.

He has but on some weight in the My Fair Brady 2 and it would be nice to see him on his season 3 of the My Fair Brady of him with good looking abs and that makes him looking like the Handsxome man he is today in this world.
