Reality show stars rarely cease to grasp for the spotlight even after their popularity has waned. They scramble for every bit of publicity shot possible and often times, people wonder if the stories they read about these so-called stars are true or merely a publicity stunt. This merciless clamor for the spotlight is why these people need a category of their own aptly named 10-Minute Celebrity Gossip.

The Reality of Reality T.V.

Sure, Lauren Conrad claims that the hit MTV show The Hills isn't scripted which is unfortunate because these days, the once likeable Conrad seems like a narcissistic 20-something that runs through BFF's faster than you can say "poor little rich girl."

The reality of reality T.V. is that everyone knows that some of the tidbits that make it on film are not, shall we say...spontaneous. Just about every reality T.V. "star" has done multiple interviews during which they have stated the phrase "That's not how it really happened."

No one can deny the fact that reality shows like The Hills or Hogan Knows Best are shot and edited in a manner that sometimes makes things appear differently on T.V. than what they are in real life.
