Casey Aldridge Out of Intensive Care
From LoveToKnow Celebrity
Doctors for Jamie Lynn Spears' on again/off again fiancé have decided to move Casey Aldridge out of intensive care.
The Accident
The 19-year old and four other friends were traveling home from a bachelor party when Aldridge lost control of his truck, causing it to flip. Three of the five passengers were thrown from the truck, including Aldridge. Casey had the most severe injuries, with a skull fracture which caused doctors to fear the teenager may have suffered a brain injury. Two boys walked away with minor scrapes and bruises while the others suffered a broken collarbone and a broken hip.
Friends, family and the general public are amazed that no one was more seriously injured. Of the five boys, only one was wearing a seatbelt.
The Move From I.C.U.
The decision to move Casey out of intensive care came as doctors discovered that the father of Maddie, now 10-months old, injuries did not require surgery. They also believe that Aldridge will make a full recovery from his injuries.
Casey was given a ticket for careless operation of a motor vehicle and police say that they did not believe alcohol to be a factor in the accident, although they did not get to do an interview with Casey until nearly four hours after the accident. Forget that he was coming home from a bachelor party. Not wearing a seatbelt. At 1:30 in the morning. Alcohol couldn't possibly be a factor, right?
