A-list actress Cameron Diaz and Grammy award-winning musician John Mayer have been spotted out and about New York City together several times lately. They met years ago at a concert, and have been pals for a while. However, they have only recently begun to spark dating rumors.

Diaz, who is in New York filming What Happens in Vegas, and Mayer have been spotted at several popular Big Apple restaurants and night spots. Witnesses report that the pair were flirting openly and appeared to be having a great time.

Both have been linked with other A-listers in recent history. Diaz was involved with singer Justin Timberlake for four years. Following the breakup with Timberlake, Diaz was briefly linked to Las Vegas magician Criss Angel and actor Jude Law.

John Mayer and singer-actress Jessica Simpson recently ended their serial off-again, on-again relationship. Mayer has also been linked to actresses Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel. The most recent rumor linked him to singer-actress Mandy Moore, although both have insistently denied any romantic ties.
