Brooke Hogan's Higher Education Denial
From LoveToKnow Celebrity
The 19-year-old aspiring singer is being denied admission by various Florida universities.
The Hogan Spinoff
VH1 is planning on taping a new reality show based around Brooke's first year in college called Brooke Hogan Knows Best (creative right?), but Brooke's first choice in Florida universities are saying "not on my campus."
The three schools she tried to tour with the hopes of attending in the fall, Florida State University, the University of Central Florida and the University of South Florida, told Miss Hogan that the 9 person camera crew would be "too distracting" to fellow classmates and sent her on her way. Hogan has not yet applied to these schools and was merely attempting to tour the campuses…during finals week. Nope, not at all distracting, right?
Other campuses are considering allowing Brooke and the crew to take a walk around the grounds but are exploring the option of charging VH1 for the extra staff needed to make the tours happen.
Not the First Celebreality Denial
This is not the first time a college or university has denied admission to a reality show star. When Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and VH1 were shopping schools for the rocker's short-lived Tommy Lee Goes to College, they were also met with a resounding "No" by the University of Central Florida. That show ended up filming at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Maybe Brooke will have to leave the coastal waters and beaches of the "Sunshine State" for the Great Plains and farms of the "Cornhusker State."
