Britney Spears Hospitalized
From LoveToKnow Celebrity
Police and paramedics were called to the home of Britney Spears when she refused to hand over her youngest son, Jayden James, to Kevin Federline's bodyguards.
Britney Barricades Herself and Son
The trouble began when Britney's visitation time with the boys had ended and they were to be returned to the care of their father, Kevin Federline. Sean Preston was put in the bodyguard's vehicle by Spears' court-appointed supervisor and returned to the house to get one year old Jayden.
At that time, Spears had taken Jayden and barricaded herself in one of the rooms in her home, refusing to come out and hand the child over. Police were called around 8 p.m to resolve the "custodial dispute". Paramedics arrived at the Spears home a short time later and were reportedly treating the fallen pop princess.
Spears was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where she is continued to remain for up to three days so doctors can asses her mental and physical well-being.
Visitation Suspended
After the incident, Britney had all visitation rights with her two young children suspended and Kevin Federline was granted full custody of the boys until the next court date set for January 14. Federline's camp has yet to make a statement regarding the incident.
