Britney Spears Custody Order Remains
From LoveToKnow Celebrity
The new Britney Spears custody order remains just as it was, with she and ex-husband Kevin Federline sharing 50 percent custody of their boys.
From Zero to Normal
It wasn't so long ago when Brit-Brit had her boys taken away from her and could only spend time with them with a court appointed supervisor in tow. After successfully recovering from whatever it was that lead to her insane head-shaving, umbrella bashing, creepy Adnan Ghalib dating behavior, Brit was able to see her boys on her own. Then, earlier this year, she was awarded 50/50 custody of her boys. Here's a question though…if she has her boys half the time and K-Fed has them the other half, why does she still have to pay child support to him?
Support Order Upheld
Out here in the real world, when parents share 50/50 custody of their children, meaning their children live with mom half the time and dad half the time, neither spouse pays child support. It's different in the Spears-Federline case, as Britney still has to pay Federline $20,000 a month in child support and that's on top of the two million he got in the divorce. Curious, no?
Speaking of K-Fed's money, rumor has it that he's already plowed through it and can't "get by" on the $240,000 a year his ex-wife gives him in child support. Plus, he gets an additional $20,000 to $25,000 a month from Brit when he travels with his children and Brit while she's on tour. If he still can't survive on that, maybe old boy should consider getting a…what's that called...oh yeah, a job!
